See If Your Teen Is a good fit

Welcome to Moriah

At Moriah Behavioral Health, we offer a safe haven where teens grappling with mental health, eating disorders, and addiction find the strength to heal. Through a holistic approach that empowers both families and individuals, we craft personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that transform lives and help each teen realize their full potential.

We are committed to nurturing sustainable well-being in every aspect of life, from mental health and emotional resilience to relationships and overall personal growth, ensuring a brighter, healthier future for your teen.

Our Programs

We specialize in treating mental health, eating disorders, and addiction for teens ages 12-18.  Our comprehensive programs include both residential and outpatient levels of care. Teens can begin at any level—residential or outpatient—and seamlessly transition to another as their needs evolve. Every step of their journey is customized to meet your unique needs

Residential Treatment

Residential Treatment (RTC) provides intensive, 24-hour care for adolescents facing significant emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges. Our Vegas locations offer comprehensive support through individual and group therapy, educational services, and experiential activities. Living on-site in a structured environment, teens benefit from a safe, stable, supportive community that fosters continuous progress. Our dedicated team crafts personalized treatment plans to ensure each adolescent receives the care needed for lasting recovery.

Day Treatment

Our Outpatient Programs include two levels of care: Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP). PHP offers a structured, supportive environment with six hours of programming each day, five days a week, encompassing individual, group, and family therapies, experiential activities, dietary guidance, and academic support. IOP provides a more flexible option, with three hours of programming each day, four days a week, allowing teens to continue their journey to independence while maintaining their regular school or work schedules.

We Accept Most Major Insurance Plans

We work with most major insurance providers to ensure you and your family receive the highest quality care possible. Below are just a few of the insurances we partner with. If you don’t see your provider listed, don’t worry—there’s a good chance we still accept it. Fill out the Verification of Benefits (VOB) form below, and we’ll take care of the rest.

The Moriah Model Of Care

Therapy

Our behavioral health team engages your teenager in individual, group, and family therapy sessions throughout a full day and night of programming. We employ a variety of evidence-based techniques to foster healing and growth for each individual at their stage in their journey.

Aftercare

Supporting our clients does not end with discharge. We work carefully with each client to develop a comprehensive home-plan and step-down resources and stay engaged with past clients and families through our ongoing alumni and family programs.

Education

Maintaining educational progress is crucial for teens during treatment. Teens at Moriah participate in academics daily either as an extension of their home-based school, or through one of our accredited study programs.

Communication

Effective, ongoing communication with parents and referral sources is vital to ensuring a teen’s successful treatment. This includes providing updates on progress, discussing treatment plans and goals, sharing relevant issues or behaviors, and creating effective next-step treatment plans and ongoing support.

Family Involvement

At Moriah, parent engagement starts the moment your child begins our program. Through weekly family therapy and parent groups, we keep parents informed, offer support, and connect them with others sharing similar experiences. Our goal is to equip families for success during treatment and beyond.

Experientials

Mental health care extends beyond emotional well-being. Your teen will participate in an array of engaging and dynamic daily activities and outings designed to support physical, mental, and emotional health.
